About EURO BAGGING
The intention to produce silage baggers and distribute silage bags dates back to 1996 when Petr Jurek – accompanied by colleagues and local farmers – traveled to Canada to explore a new method of storage of bulky feed: in bags. At that time, Petr Jurek worked as an agronomist for one of the larger local dairy producers that needed to solve the storage of feed for its cows. In Canada, farmers had been storing feed in bags for many years, and the system had been showing excellent results thanks to high quality of the stored feed.
The first silage baggers and the origins of EURO BAGGING
Upon return from Canada, where drawing documentation of silage baggers from the production of a well-known manufacturer AMITY were purchased, first six machines were imported; some of them fully assembled, some just partially. Local production of silage baggers started in 1997. The first machines were yet branded AMITY, but had been redesigned in accord with European requirements.
In 1998, Petr Jurek founded EURO BAGGING, Ltd., a company originally focused on production and distribution of silage bags and AMITY silage baggers.
The present day
Our company continues the legacy of the Jurka family. Petr Jurek and his son Lukáš Jurek are responsible for the sale of high-quality silage bags and machines for forage storage (silage balers, grain crushers, grain loaders and extractors, etc.). Through our network of dealers, agents, and distributors, we are now active in more than 35 countries. Our end customers include farmers and agricultural businesses across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
We are proud holders of the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate, which we have maintained continuously since 2011. A team of experienced professionals takes care of production, distribution, after-sales service, and spare parts delivery.
Our vision for future
Our vision for the future is to expand our market reach into new, unexplored countries in Africa, Asia, and North and South America. We aim to emphasize the use of cutting-edge technologies and adapt the development of our machines to current trends, ensuring they fully meet the needs of all users involved in forage storage in bags.
