If cereals are harvested with a moisture content of 30-40%, the feed quality and igestability is at its peek level. With an earlier harvest your field are ready for its next use earlier as well. Wet cereal harvesting is less dependent on weather. When you store crimped corn in bags you prevent formation of fungus and losses of the energetic values of fodder.
