Grain Saving System

Grain Saving System

The dry grain storage system known as the “GRAIN SAVER SYSTEM” was first developed around 15 years ago in Argentina and has since spread across the world. In cooperation with our long-term partner in grain storage, FARMMAC AB from Sweden, we have adapted this system for the European market. Storing dry grain in plastic storage bags offers many economic and operational advantages and proves to be one of the effective solutions for grain storage under various climatic conditions.

How dry grain storage in bags works

During the bagging process, a large volume of air escapes from the bag, while the remaining air is partially consumed by the stored grain itself, by live microorganisms, and by insects. Additionally, part of the oxygen is converted into carbon dioxide through the cell respiration.

Approximately 30 days after the grain was bagged, a balance is reached between the concentration of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
After about 45–50 days, cell respiration stops, and the CO₂-rich atmosphere ensures that no insects survive inside the bag.

Silage Baggers with Remote Control

dalkove-ovladani

For the silage baggers EB 310 LG and EB 316 LG, we use remote control for auxiliary machine functions to maximize operator comfort, specifically to shift the machine from working to transport position. The remote control operates via Bluetooth, and thanks to this technology, in case the remote control is lost or forgotten, the machine can be operated using an Android smartphone (after all, nobody ever forgets their phone at home).

The self-propelled silage bagger EB 310 GM is also controlled by a remote control, which operates via radio transmission. The machine control is precise and smooth, and because the operator does not have to sit inside the cabin—where visibility is practically nonexistent when moving the machine from one place to another—they have full control over the machine.
