Crimping and grinding
Crimping of moist maize or cereal grain using grain crimpers brings a wide range of benefits and has recently been spreading across Europe and beyond. Almost every agricultural enterprise that requires high-quality and energy-rich feed for dairy farms considers crimping moist grain as a viable solution to their needs.
Ideally, the grain maturity should be between 35–40%, which is significantly higher than for harvesting dry grain.

Benefits of crimping moist grain
- Moist grain can be harvested from the field long before it reaches full maturity – allowing an early preparation of the field for sowing winter cereals
- High energy value of the grain and excellent (over 98%) digestibility
- Reduced risk of adverse weather thanks to an earlier harvest
- Significantly lower costs thanks to no need for grain drying
- Higher content of water-soluble sugars and less starch compared to dried grain
Silage Baggers with Remote Control

For the silage baggers EB 310 LG and EB 316 LG, we use remote control for auxiliary machine functions to maximize operator comfort, specifically to shift the machine from working to transport position. The remote control operates via Bluetooth, and thanks to this technology, in case the remote control is lost or forgotten, the machine can be operated using an Android smartphone (after all, nobody ever forgets their phone at home).
The self-propelled silage bagger EB 310 GM is also controlled by a remote control, which operates via radio transmission. The machine control is precise and smooth, and because the operator does not have to sit inside the cabin—where visibility is practically nonexistent when moving the machine from one place to another—they have full control over the machine.
